Multilingual health-advocacy Progressive Web App built for an NGO to expand their international reach.

Hardest challenge

The site brings together program pages, resources, search, and language routes while editors update content through WordPress. Those pieces need a consistent content model so a visitor can find the same kind of information across languages.

What I worked on

  • Headless WordPress CMS for content management
  • English, French, and Dutch routes and navigation
  • Multilingual Algolia search across resources
  • Resource sharing and volunteer management features

Lessons learned

Multilingual routes, CMS fields, and search indexing need to be planned together. Adding language support after the content model was settled made gaps in navigation and discoverability harder to fix.

Evidence and status

Public site - with program information and resources available through its language-specific routes.
